BlueTreeDigital announces that CEO Nicole Skuba will lead two digital marketing workshops at the 2015 Wine Tourism Conference in Leesburg, VA. Both workshops will be on Wednesday, November 18, 2015: Digital Marketing for the Wine Industry, 8:30-11:00am, and Digital Marketing for the Beer Industry, 1:00-4:00pm.
The 2015 Wine Tourism Conference will take place on November 18-20 at the Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Loudoun County, Virginia. The conference, hosted on the East Coast for the first time, provides a forum for leaders and business owners in the wine tourism industry around the country. Beer-industry specific workshops that meet the business and marketing demands of the craft beer movement are a new addition to this year’s conference.
Nicole Skuba will share her knowledge on digital marketing techniques and tools, including search engine optimization, content creation (including blogging), social media, email marketing, online advertising, and video marketing. Both of the workshop sessions will focus on how wineries and craft breweries can engage with their customers and market to new ones online.
Gary Nealon of Wine Trail Adventures will provide wine industry expertise at the morning workshop, Digital Marketing for the Wine Industry. “Digital marketing is ideal for the wine industry,” notes Nicole. “It’s easier to target specific demographics and track success. It’s more cost effective than traditional advertising too.”
Neal Stewart, Vice President of Marketing at Dogfish Head Brewery, will be on hand for the workshop on Digital Marketing for the Beer Industry. “The craft beer industry is growing quickly, in terms of new breweries and consumption,” says Nicole Skuba. “A lot of breweries are more focused on producing good beer than selling it. But craft beer needs to find appreciative consumers. Our workshop will help breweries with ideas and strategies to connect with customers new and old.”
Workshop registration at this year’s Wine Tourism Conference is $125 (or $200 for two). Other conference workshops will include Beer Tourism, Tasting Room Management, and Creating and Growing a Food, Wine, or Beer Tour Operator Business.
