One new module details to attendees the advantages and benefits of Information Architecture (IA) and SEO. IA is a series of processes applied to websites that ensures web visitors and readers find the most important content quickly by creating and implementing user-friendly navigation, labeling and site search functions.
Another very new SEO strategy is incorporating schema.org into websites. Schema.org uses the microdata format, which is recognized by Google, Bing and Yahoo as a data standard, to provide high quality rich snippets for the search engine crawlers to more easily find and rank web pages for relevant search results.
More new and updated material for SEO includes updated SEO strategies for both internal and external linking to comply with Google's Penguin update, as well as updated SEO information on optimizing social media, video, blog posts and web page content.
