Search Engine Academy Washington DC made the Baltimore Business Journal's weekly Top of the List for August 1, 2014. The weekly list featured the top five fastest growing woman-owned businesses in the Baltimore, Maryland area.

The Baltimore Business Journal named Search Engine Academy Washington DC (SEA DC) as one of the top five fastest growing woman-owned business in the Baltimore Maryland area for their weekly Top Of the List feature.


"I have no idea how the Journal found out about me. I wasn't interviewed. The only reason why I knew was because I was getting notifications from Twitter followers, congratulating me," said Nancy E. Wigal, the owner and operator of Search Engine Academy Washington DC.

"2013 was a great year, business-wise. I trained the largest number of students since I started SEA DC back in early 2010. I had attendees almost every month," according to Nancy.

SEA DC is a training and consulting firm that offers any business owner with a website courses on how to apply search engine optimization (SEO) to their web pages to get better visibility in search results. Two, three and five day SEO training classes are offered every month, and Nancy also creates custom, corporate SEO training classes that she teaches at individual business locations on demand. In addition, SEA DC provides enterprise SEO program support on an hourly and project basis.

SEA DC is part of Search Engine Academy, which was founded by Robin Nobles and John Alexander. Other locations include Canada, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Europe and multiple U.S. locations.
