Blogging conference highlights a line-up of blogging, content development, WordPress, social media, SEO, and branding experts who will take the stage at their annual event.

Type-A, the premier community and conference for lifestyle bloggers and micro influencers and the brands who want to engage them, has announced the full line-up of speakers for their upcoming 2018 Annual Conference.

“Our attendees come to Type-A events to work,” said co-owner, Rachel Honoway. “We have pulled together a faculty of speakers that will give our attendees dozens of step-by-step strategies to take home and apply to their businesses.”


“We actually expect to see attendees working on their blogs and social media profiles during sessions,” added co-owner, Eric Nagel. “We love walking around and seeing attendees making changes right then and there as they learn from the people on stage.”

The conference agenda is spread across three days. The first day is open to VIP attendees who are treated to sessions filled with actionable content from SEO, blogging, content development, and monetization experts.

General sessions begin on Friday. This day includes more content on SEO, blogging, and content development, with a greater focus on monetization and working with brands. Several panel discussions are slated for Friday allowing brands, agencies, and influencers to share the stage and participate in conversations about creating mutually-beneficial, long-term relationships.

Saturday’s content theme is “Beyond the Blog." With sessions from published authors, e-commerce specialists, and branding experts, speakers will show attendees how to use the brand they’ve built through blogging as a springboard into publishing, products, and services.

The event will take place from Wednesday evening, September 26th through Saturday, September 29th in Chicago, IL at The Drake Hotel on Chicago’s Gold Coast. Organizers expect 500 attendees.

Along with sessions, the event includes sponsored meals and breaks throughout the day and receptions at night. It also includes an exhibit hall which will be open on Friday night and all day Saturday where brands, agencies, and others can connect with bloggers and social media influencers.
