Reveals the Future for Online Marketing

In late April 2013, the renowned blog platform WordPress held a conference called WordCamp in Melbourne, Australia. Video SEO expert and Melbourne SEO Services' founder David Jenyns reveals to audiences video is the way of online marketing for the future.

Melbourne, Victoria - June 08, 2013 -- Over Anzac Day weekend in late April the popular blog platform WordPress held their renowned WordCamp conference in Melbourne, Australia. Among the impressive list if industry professionals was Australian native David Jenyns of Melbourne SEO Services, speaking about his passion for WordPress and expertise in video SEO. His time on stage included the path he believes online marketing will take as well as a solid question and answer session from the crowd. "A lot of changes have happened to SEO over the past twelve months, so it was great to give such relevant content to a large, interested audience," says Mr. Jenyns.

Created over ten years ago, WordPress's success is the outcome of being a free program that's very easy to use. The platform's versatility can fit the needs of a simple blogger to a full fledged e-commerce store. However, one of the main issues faced by users is the lack of support for the open source application; hence the creation of WordCamp.

WordCamp brings together WordPress enthusiasts, specialists and users from all ends of the globe so they can learn and benefit from each others experiences. In this year's WordCamp in Melbourne Australia, one of the industry experts was a local, Mr. David Jenyns of Melbourne SEO Services.

During his detailed presentation, Mr. Jenyns talked the crowd through the importance of creating and using the right systems for their website businesses as well as how to evolve with the ever changing face of SEO. He pointed out that using easy platforms like WordPress are the best way forward, especially with video. Mr. Jenyns says, "SEO has had more changes over the past year than ever before, but one thing is here to stay and that's web video - it's truly the future of online marketing."

The online video enthusiast also commented that "video gives websites credibility and instant connections with the viewer. It also allows the ability to create valuable content and to duplicate it." He further explains the reason why video is the way forward through something he calls "the content contagion."

Regardless of what type of business it is, he says, "record a workshop, then cut it up into pieces and load those clips to YouTube. Rip out the audio and post them to iTunes, or better yet, transcribe the video and post it onto blogs and social media." He goes on to say that the old SEO methods of spinning content are long gone, "Using video is the easiest and best way to make one piece of quality content go a long way."

Mr. Jenyns' confidence in online video has been so strong that he created another company called Melbourne Video Production, which produces professional web videos for small businesses. "I've been known to be a trend-spotter in the online space, and I'm putting my bets on web video."
