"We realized early on that there is not a purely algorithmic solution to search (ppc or seo). An algorithm is great at telling me that ad A outperformed ad B, but inherently poor at asking why, or trying an ad C. So we approached our technology development from the perspective of building a set of tools that would make an expert (ie our seo/ppc account managers) extraordinarily efficient, putting the right data in front of them at the right time," explains Mike Mothner, Founder and CEO of Wpromote.

Wpromote follows the Gestalt Theory that "the whole is greater than the sum of its parts," to create amazing results for their clients. Mothner say, "Usually the approach to SEO and PPC is a silo'd one, whether it is performed by an interal team or by and agency; SEO falls closer to IT, and SEM fell to marketing. We realized early on that this approach was a flawed one and designed our search marketing philosophy around one that uses data from one side to improve the other." This process includes the example of using SEO analytics conclusions to improve a PPC campaign strategy and vice versa.

What's up next for Wpromote? The company is "in an aggressive expansion stage" while they work to become closer with their clients in order to create "extraordinary overall online marketing results."
